Learn More About Abortion
If you are considering abortion, we’re here to help you make an informed choice. We want to make sure you have the information you need and know the options available to you at this point in your pregnancy. Make your appointment today.
Be Sure You’re Really Pregnant
Before you schedule an appointment for an abortion, it’s important to make sure you’re really pregnant. We offer free medical-quality pregnancy tests to help you confirm your pregnancy. If you have a positive test at our center, you may qualify for a complimentary ultrasound to determine how far along you are and the viability of your pregnancy.
Understand Abortion
Often, women who consider going to an abortion clinic know little about the different abortion procedures and what they may experience with an abortion. You deserve to know the facts and be fully informed before booking an appointment at a clinic that performs abortions. During your pregnancy test appointment, our staff will educate you and answer any questions you have.
We can discuss what medical procedures are legally available and what other options are available to you at this point in your pregnancy so you can make the best decision for yourself. All our services are free of charge, so we have no financial interest in any decisions you make as a result of your appointment.
Before Seeking An Abortion
Make a pregnancy test appointment to meet with our staff to discuss your personal situation, discuss your options, and get all the answers to any questions you may have.

Emergency Contraception: Morning-After Pill
Are you nervous because you had unprotected sex? You may even be concerned about an unplanned pregnancy and thinking about the Morning-After Pill.
What Do You Know About Plan B?
Plan B One-Step®, Option 2®, and My Way® are also known as the “Morning-After Pill.” It is a form of emergency birth control designed to prevent pregnancy. It’s intended for backup contraception only, not as a primary method of birth control.
It should be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. Plan B is NOT the same as the abortion pill.
How Does The Morning-After Pill Work?
The morning-after pill will not end a pregnancy after conception has occurred, that is, after the egg has already been fertilized. It works primarily by delaying or preventing an egg from being released (ovulation) in the middle of your cycle.
Are There Side Effects Of The Morning-After Pill?
The Mayo Clinic lists the possible side effects as:
- Nausea or vomiting
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Breast tenderness
- Bleeding between periods or heavier menstrual bleeding
- Lower abdominal pain or cramps
Plan B does not work if an egg has already been released in this cycle, and it offers no protection against STIs.
What If I’m Pregnant?
Plan B is not the same medication that is in the abortion pill. If you took Plan B but now suspect you are pregnant, make an appointment for a no-cost medical-quality pregnancy test so that you can explore your options.
